Women in Computer Science, Engineering and Technology (WiCET) Summer Program
Thank you for your interest in our Summer 2022 WiECT Program. Registration is now closed.
If you submitted an application before the deadline, we will review the submission and get back to you as soon as possible. If you already submitted an initial application, begin gathering the required medical documentation you will eventually need to submit when our program manager follows up with you:
- A complete immunization report in accordance with the New York State Department of Health's standards. Proof of immunizations can be a physician’s immunization record with a physician’s office stamp. The physician’s office stamp is required by NYS Department of Health to authenticate the record.
- Complete COVID vaccination.
Have a great summer!
Are you a student interested in engineering, computer science or technology?
Join us for a free one-week guided program (July 11 – 15) exploring 3-D modeling and printing, laser cutting, FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays), and Python programming to build a dynamic vehicle with electronic sensors and self-driving capabilities. The program ends with a final scavenger hunt competition where you and your teammates will compete against other teams to successfully complete the final mission.
Join New York Tech experts to learn more about electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science while gaining hands-on experience.
We accept a maximum of 25 students on a first-come, first serve basis.
This program is made possible by the generous support of Xilinx, Inc. and its Women in Technology University Grant Program.
- Dates: July 11-15, 2022
