Hospitality Management, B.P.S.

Hospitality Management, B.P.S.

Learn what it takes to manage hospitality venues around the world, including hotels and resorts, restaurants, events, conferences and conventions, casinos, and travel and tourism career endeavors.

Our program educates students in every aspect of the hospitality industry. Unlike a B.A. or B.S. degree, our B.P.S. degree lets you dedicate 60 percent of your schedule exclusively to hospitality courses.

Our curriculum embraces best practices in strategic planning, marketing, event operations, reputation management, business ethics, and leadership development--along with a strong foundation in the liberal arts.

Professional development opportunities include:

  • Global Center for Hospitality Management
  • Professional associations and clubs
  • Honor societies
  • Educational industry tours
  • Global internships

You’ll become familiar with industry standards as we show you the the strategies, methods, software, and systems used by hospitality executives worldwide. You’ll make professional connections through field trips, guest lecturers, and professional organizations. Our study abroad/internship opportunities have taken our students around the corner to five-star venues in New York and around the world to sites in Costa Rica, Ireland, Italy, South Africa, Spain, and New Zealand.

You will also benefit from connections you’ll make with alumni and adjunct faculty who are managers at some of the best names in  the business or entrepreneurs who have founded their own businesses in hospitality-related areas.
