Criminal Justice, B.S.

Gain a full understanding of the fundamentals of criminal justice and get advanced training in such areas as hostage negotiation, forensics, and criminal investigation. In addition to their excellent academic credentials, many of our faculty have professional law enforcement backgrounds at the federal, state, and local level.

Your coursework will come to life when you take on externships in the criminal justice field as you work toward your degree. You’ll find a community of shared interests in the Behavioral Science Club, open to psychology and sociology majors as well as fellow criminal justice students. You may also apply for membership in NYIT’s chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Honor Society in Criminal Justice.
