Stefan Storey, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at New York Institute of Technology in Vancouver, British Columbia.

He is an educator and innovator, teaching energy engineering, resource management, entrepreneurship, and environmental policy in the M.S. Energy Management program. Stefan has an interdisciplinary engineering background and is a specialist in energy policy, decarbonization, life cycle analysis, and the long-term financial management of commercial buildings.

His areas of expertise include data science, automation, risk analysis, financial modeling, energy performance verification and measurement, and whole-building environmental analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering Physics), a Master of Applied Science (Mechanical Engineering), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability) from the University of British Columbia.
