Linda Schneider, Ph.D., RN, HN-BC, began her career as a professional registered nurse in 1984. By working in hospitals throughout her career, Linda's expertise grew in pediatrics, behavioral health, coronary care, and endoscopy. She became a director of adult day health care in 2012, receiving several awards for creating holistic nursing programs. In 2015, she pursued teaching to further her passion for holistic nursing by educating future nurses. Nursing education became the focus of her endeavors to advance nursing education through research. An adjunct faculty since 2018, Linda's promotion to assistant professor in 2022 comes with gratitude and thankfulness in recognition of her dedication to New York Tech and the nursing profession.
