Anyi Chen graduated from Penn State University with a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.

She provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure Health Information Technology & Analytics platform at the Staten Island Performing Provider System (SIPPS). She leads the PPS analytics team and develops advanced analytics coupled with a population health approach to drive better clinical outcomes and lower total cost of care.

Prior to joining Staten Island PPS, Chen spent more than 15 years in healthcare informatics and business analytics roles in major medical centers and health systems. She specializes in advanced analytics, data warehousing, and business intelligence, helping healthcare organizations maximize data value. Most recently, she was director of clinical data analytics at The Mount Sinai Hospital and a mathematician at St. Francis Hospital – The Heart Center, in Roslyn, New York. Chen is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
