Alain Boldini is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at New York Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) in aerospace engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2015. In 2017, he received a dual Master of Science (magna cum laude) in aeronautical and aerospace engineering from Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino and his Doctorate of Mechanical Engineering from New York University Tandon School of Engineering in 2022. From 2022 to 2023, he was a postdoctoral associate at New York University Tandon School of Engineering.

Bolidini is passionate about the mathematical modeling of complex physical, natural, and social systems, utilizing theoretical and data-driven insights. He is the author of more than 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, including Physical Review Letters, npj Computational Materials, Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids, and International Journal of Engineering Science.
