Location/Facilities

NYIT-Vancouver is located in a modern high-rise building in downtown Vancouver, in the heart of the financial district and close to many cultural venues. NYIT-Vancouver's 17th-floor location includes a computer lab, student lounges, and a distance learning room. Dining, shopping, and mass transit are located within walking distance of campus.

Experiential Activities and Clubs

Experiential learning initiatives at NYIT-Vancouver include curricular credit-bearing activities such as internships, practicum, and business policy simulation activities. Active learning, networking, and business development include a professional enrichment program, the dean's student intern program, and a mentoring program. Co-curricular activities include a student advisory board, special-interest clubs, faculty-led field trips, career advancement programs, and an honor society in addition to a range of social and recreational activities.

Housing Near Campus

There are a many options for accommodations located near the NYIT campus. International students can rent suites for individual or shared living. Costs vary and most rentals do not include furnishings. Amsrentsline.com is an online listing of apartments and houses that is geared toward students.
