The Office of Academic Affairs oversees programs in teaching, research, and service; academic planning; new initiatives in teaching and learning; research centers; curriculum for NYIT's global programs; academic computing; and the libraries. The academic affairs office is also the chief liaison and facilitator for the Academic Senate and with the faculty and their labor representatives (AAUP).
