Fall classes at the Long Island and New York City campuses are being offered remotely and in person.

Everyone coming to campus must complete a COVID-19 Health Screen questionnaire prior to arrival—see student questionnaire and employee/visitor questionnaire. Both are also found on my.nyit.edu or the NYIT app.

All students coming to campus must also have a COVID-19 test result on file with the university.

You will need your Username and Password to access your nyit.edu email (Gmail for students; Outlook for faculty & staff)

Apple iOS

Follow these instructions to set-up email on your mobile Apple device.

Setting Up Student Email

  1. Tap settings
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords (iOS 11)
    Mail, Contacts, or Calendar (iOS 10)
  3. Tap on Add Account
  4. Tap on Google
  5. Enter your login information for your Google account and tap Next after each step

Setting Up Employee Email

  1. Tap settings
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords (iOS 11)
    Mail, Contacts, or Calendar (iOS 10)
  3. Tap on Add Account
  4. Tap Exchange option
  5. Fill in your NYIT e-mail account
  6. Fill in your my.NYIT Password
  7. Server > outlook.nyit.edu
  8. Domain > Admin.nyit.edu
  9. User Name > Enter your my.NYIT user name
  10. Choose what to sync: Mail, Contact, Calendars, Reminders and Notes
  11. Save
