Dear NYIT Community,

The nation honors the brave, honorable women and men of the U.S. military annually each Veterans Day, and the NYIT community's gratitude for their sacrifices at home and abroad to protect our freedoms, families, and way of life extends each and every day.

I am proud to say that NYIT is and will always be a home for veterans, who are often balancing multiple commitments that include family, classwork, and service. We seek to offer flexible schedules and additional services to help our veterans achieve success in all of their academic, professional, and personal endeavors.

On November 10, I encourage you to join the NYIT community in recognizing Veterans Day and to thank the veterans you know (at NYIT and elsewhere) for their bravery and commitment.
