New York Tech Marketing Publications

February 10, 2021

Dear New York Tech Faculty and Staff,

I wanted to take this opportunity to share two publications showcasing the breadth and depth of our university's mission-driven programs; the value and outcomes of a New York Tech degree; the exciting research and initiatives taking place on campus; and the dedication and expertise of our faculty and staff—all of which are contributing to the outstanding experiences we offer our students.

Here are links to the publications, along with a brief description of their goals, purposes, and audiences:

Vision Book: Reinventing Tech

This high-end publication was developed and produced by consultant Stamats, the agency that led New York Tech's rebranding efforts a few years ago, to enhance reputation and awareness among many critical stakeholders. Targeting donor prospects as well as VIP corporate and government partners, this cultivation piece was also mailed to peer institutions' presidents and provosts as part of our ongoing campaign to inform rankings and other peer assessments. Through images, profiles, and other engaging content, it celebrates our proud legacy in technology and the historic achievements of New York Tech and our community of faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Admissions Viewbook: Reinvent the Future

This year's viewbook, produced by the Office of Strategic Communications and External Affairs for the Office of Enrollment Management, is mailed throughout the recruitment cycle to targeted prospective students, parents, counselors, and other stakeholders to find out about the advantages, value, and outcomes of our career-focused degree programs, co-curricular activities including research and student life, and important information about the application and financial aid process. While offering an overview and next steps to a primarily undergraduate degree-focused audience, the viewbook is packed with useful URLs offering detailed program information and resources. An abbreviated version—an "at-a-glance" piece—was created to share with a wider audience of prospects to initiate awareness and engagement.

These two publications represent a larger set of integrated materials used for recruitment marketing as well as awareness building among the many audiences we seek to influence, ranging from students to donors. I believe that the strong, compelling messages shared within these pieces can be integrated into our own communications about New York Tech. I hope you enjoy them.

Sincerely,

Hank Foley, Ph.D.
President, New York Institute of Technology
