Special Delivery: Roary Welcomes New Students

June 9, 2020

While graduation ceremonies go virtual, New York Tech’s mascot, Roary, donned his cap and gown and hit the road to congratulate high school graduates and welcome them to New York Tech.

On Tuesday, June 2, Roary and members of the Office of Admissions led a car parade across seven Nassau County towns to deliver lawn signs to members of New York Tech’s newest class. They visited 12 students and families, just a small group among the hundreds of undergrads who have so far secured their spots in the Fall 2020 class. To date, New York Tech is expecting to welcome students from more than 20 U.S. states and 25 countries around the world.

Students who want to secure their spot in the incoming class are invited to pick up a sign of their own at our Long Island campus on Tuesday, June 9 or Thursday, June 11 from noon to 2 p.m. at the North Lot.
