Do you want to extend your network in Vancouver? Do you want to bring impact to the community? GSA has an opportunity for you! Volunteer at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

Introduction to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank

The Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB) was set up to offer temporary relief in response to the hunger crisis in 1983 and has grown significantly in the three decades since. Today the GVFB provides assistance to approximately 8,500 individuals monthly across Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and the North Shore. They supported 16,133 people in the last year: 25 percent were children, 58 percent were adults, and 17 percent were seniors.
