Vocational Independence Program Spring 2018 Open House

We invite you to visit NYIT and learn about the Vocational Independence Program, a U.S. Department of Education-approved comprehensive postsecondary transition program for students with special needs. During this event, we will:
- Discuss the VIP skill-building curriculum
- Explain the opportunities VIP students have to take credit courses and/or gain valuable work experience
- Provide an overview of the VIP support system
- Go over VIP campus/residence life
- Cover the VIP admissions process
- Take a tour of both the NYIT campus and the VIP residence hall at the NYIT Academic Village
