Resolving Conflict in a Culturally Diverse Business Environment

November 16, 2022
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Workplace conflicts that are not resolved can often spiral out of control, leading to serious consequences, including potential termination of employment. Most of these conflicts can be avoided or resolved, provided you have the necessary conflict management training. In this session, we’ll focus on the cultural variables that can often impact relationships and provoke conflicts in a culturally-diverse workplace, giving you the cultural awareness to become effective negotiators and conflict solvers and improve your relationships with your supervisors and co-workers.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS BOOTCAMP

This session is part of the Business Bootcamp for High School Students, a free, virtual program offered by NYIT School of Management to help prepare high school students for the business school experience. These college-level workshops, taught by our expert faculty, offer students critical training they can add to their résumés and incorporate into both their academic and professional lives, as they seek entry to college and the business world.

Students who attend at least one workshop will be eligible to win cash prizes by entering an essay writing contest. Students who complete all six bootcamp sessions will receive a certificate of completion from NYIT School of Management.
