Reading Partners Information Session

Reading Partners New York is currently seeking dedicated tutors to provide one-on-one virtual or in-person literacy tutoring to K-4th grade NYC public school students online.

Students with federal work-study awards may earn their work-study funding through this position.

• Tutors provide literacy instruction using our scripted, structured and easy-to-follow curriculum that includes all of the books, worksheets, and step-by-step lesson plans to teach an effective lesson.
• Flexible weekday hours — choose sessions, Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Volunteer training and support — volunteers are trained and supported by a full-time on-site staff member.
• One-on-one virtual tutoring — individualized attention makes a huge difference for our students. You will be matched with the same student to work with weekly for the school year.
• Resume building and networking opportunities — we offer personal and professional development and a chance to meet with our fabulous team of tutors.
