Join us for an open-call info session about the R-CUBED (Relief x Reconstruction x Resiliency) multidisciplinary disaster response collective. Find out about our pilot course “Resiliency + Social Impact,” which will be offered in Spring 2020, preceded by a service/research trip to Puerto Rico in January.

R-CUBED is an interdisciplinary research project looking for partners across schools and departments with expertise in architecture, healthcare, business, engineering, education, science, and behavioral and social sciences. Working collaboratively and across disciplines, R-CUBED aims to generate innovative and holistic interventions made possible through intersections and overlaps, linking projects with student engagement and high impact service-learning opportunities.

Light refreshments will be served.

About R-CUBED

R-Cubed approaches relief, reconstruction, and resiliency from an interdisciplinary perspective that draws on both academic and professional expertise. The consultancy partners with NGOs, individuals, and other organizations to develop long- and short-term plans of action that are efficient and supported by case studies and best practices. R-Cubed is seeking faculty, staff, and student collaborators.

How can our interventions build stronger communities and much-needed climate and social resiliency? By collaborating across disciplines, we, as a community can make greater impact and focus on overlapping and reinforcing efforts to build infrastructure (physical, educational, social, biomedical, technology, communications, etc.) in locations, both local and around the world, affected by natural and man-made disasters, displacement, social injustice, and economic inequality.
