About this Event

Respondent: Maria PERBELLINI, Dean, School of Architecture and Design, New York Institute of Technology

All creative work, including architecture, demands a certain form of renunciation, ofturning one’s back on what is most personal, in order to attain greater universality.

From houses such as Casa Cala in Madrid, Domus Aurea in México or the House of the Infinite at the edge of sea in Cadiz, to a Sports Gymnasium in Madrid, the offices next to the Cathedral in Zamora or a radical multipurpose space in Mexico by the sea, Mr. Campo Baeza’s lecture will focus on how he makes architecture more essential, more profound, more logical and simple.
