Our New Student Welcome is a required event for all new incoming students enrolled at our NYIT-Long Island campus, except for those enrolled in the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Check-in begins at 11 a.m. at the Student Activity Center (SAC) Field. Designated parking is at Brook Lot 1 and the tennis courts, with overflow parking at Education Hall. Lunch will be provided. Afterward, students will be directed to the SAC Gym for welcome remarks from President Hank Foley and Provost Junius Gonzales. They will then break out into their academic programs where they will meet their deans and faculty.

Please note: There are no programs for parents and guests—this event is solely for new students. Contact orientationli@nyit.edu if you need assistance or accommodations.
