Screening and Discussion Featuring Immigrant-Produced Documentary Short Films

Immigrants, refugees, and immigration policy are critical issues for many American communities this election year. CSFilm's New Immigrant and Refugee Visions (NIRV) project is a collection of documentary films made by new immigrants that provide a unique insider perspective on the integration challenges faced by immigrants and the contributions they make to our culture, economy, and social fabric. The filmmakers made these short films to engage communities in dialogue about immigrants and immigration in the United States.

View two immigrant-produced films, An American Child and Campaign for a New American. Engage with immigrant filmmakers and your neighbors in discussing myths, facts, and experiences concerning immigrants to increase understanding and make more informed community choices. Contribute your voice to decisions about what actions we want to take, individually and as a community.
