Managing Risk in a Litigious Business Environment

We live in a litigious society (over 40 million lawsuits are commenced in the U.S. every year). One lawsuit can be disastrous and end a business. This workshop will train participants to manage the day-to-day risks associated with running a business with an eye to mitigating the risks of getting sued.

This session is part of the Business Bootcamp for High School Students, a free, virtual program offered by NYIT School of Management to help prepare high school students for the business school experience. These college-level workshops, taught by our expert faculty, offer students critical training they can add to their résumés and incorporate into both their academic and professional lives, as they seek entry to college and the business world.
