iNTEREST Series: Introduction to Raspberry Pi

The Raspberry Pi control board has become one of the most popular control boards for students, entrepreneurs, and robotic application developers. Participants will be introduced to the Raspberry Pi device and the Raspbian Linux operating system and learn how to control the various board components through the Python programming language. Attendees will also be introduced to various topics, including controlling LED lights, motors, actuators, ultrasound sensors, and collecting electronic sensor data.

The iNTEREST Lecture Series is hosted by the Entrepreneurship & Technology Innovation Center (ETIC) at the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences. It is designed to introduce attendees to a variety of high-demand technologies associated with dedicated career paths. All sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the ETIC YouTube channel.
