Inhabiting Surface: Studies in Variable Formwork Design

The exhibition features work of students from NYIT School of Architecture and Design and The Department of Landscape Architecture at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (CPP or Cal Poly Pomona). NYIT students created work in a semester-long fabrication lab taught by NYIT Associate Professor Naomi Frangos. Students from NYIT and Cal Poly Pomona also participated in a one-week intensive, collaborative fabric form concrete workshop, which was led by Professor Frangos, CCP Assistant Professor Rennie Tang, and international material experts Ronnie Araya, architect, and Remo Pedreschi, director of the M.Sc. in Material Practice program in the Department of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh.
