How to Negotiate Job Offers

Salary negotiations involve discussing a job offer with a prospective employer to negotiate a salary and benefits package that will hopefully meets or exceeds your needs. This is a critical step in the interview process. However, it can also be confusing and complicated—especially for those who have never done it before.

In this workshop, Career Advisors will guide you through exercises and teach you strategies to help you feel confident navigating the complexities of job offers. You will gain confidence in your negotiation style through facilitated discussion/role play and learn:

• How to develop persuasive responses and other negotiation strategies
• How to conduct market research to benchmark a target salary and benefits
