Chiarelli has spent the past 30 years working in construction management. He was a co-founder of T.G. Nickel & Associates, LLC., a nationally recognized construction management firm, and as executive vice president and director of operations, played a critical role in transforming T.G. Nickel & Associates from a small, Long Island-based construction firm to a preeminent New York builder. T.G. Nickel & Associates was named one of Crain’s Top 100 Places to Work in NYC in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, after years of joint-partnership work between the firms, Chiarelli played an integral part in Consigli Construction’s acquisition of the company.

Chiarelli graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s in Architectural Technology. He is deeply committed to mentoring and supporting future leaders in ACE and credits NYIT for giving him the foundation he needed to be a leader in the industry. Chiarelli gives back to his alma mater by mentoring and recruiting students from the school—in fact, 20 percent of Consigli’s New York City staff is comprised of NYIT alumni—and is a founding member of the NYIT FRIENDS of the School of Architecture and Design.
