First-Gen Students: Tips & Resources on Paying for College

As a current student or the parent/guardian of a New York Tech student, do you have questions about meeting the cost of attending New York Tech?

Join us for a panel discussion with representatives from the Office of Financial Aid, who will review the different types of financial assistance including state and federal aid, institutional grants or scholarships, and work-study. The panel will offer additional ways to meet the cost of attendance such as payment plans and private scholarships, and discuss the benefits and pitfalls of borrowing loans.

We will also share information about New York Tech’s ACE program and our other tutoring and academic support services, which can help you maintain the necessary GPA to continue qualifying for your current aid or scholarships.

Members of our staff will be available throughout the event to answer your questions. You will also have the opportunity to schedule one-to-one appointments after the event has ended.
