Fired Up: A Conversation on Gun Violence (Common Ground)

March 14, 2018
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Edward Guiliano Global Center, Library 1st Floor
New York, NY

Students across the country are rallying in solidarity with those affected by the Parkland school shooting that killed 17 people and wounded another 17 on February 14.

We would like to take this opportunity and have a conversation about gun violence in the United States:

  • How do you feel when you learn about gun violence on the news?
  • Do you believe that guns undermine or guarantee liberty?
  • Do you have thoughts on how the issue is debated by politicians in Congress? In your state? Your hometown?

Be part of the conversation. Make your voice heard. Take a stance.

This event is part of the Common Ground Series and is hosted in collaboration with Student Involvement and Inclusion, International and Experiential Education, and the Student Government Association.
