Financial Literacy for the Novice Entrepreneur

A business leader must be financially competent. They must know how to improve their credit ratings, how to get a loan, how to read financial statements, how to protect personal assets from exposure when they start a business, what the potential tax liabilities associated with starting and running a business, how to value and protect intellectual property. This workshop will address the basics needed to achieve financial literacy.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS BOOTCAMP
This session is part of the Business Bootcamp for High School Students, a free, virtual program offered by NYIT School of Management to help prepare high school students for the business school experience. These college-level workshops, taught by our expert faculty, offer students critical training they can add to their résumés and incorporate into both their academic and professional lives, as they seek entry to college and the business world.
