ETIC Cyber Hackathon

The Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC) is hosting its 4th Cybersecurity Challenge!

These challenges introduce NYIT students to Cybersecurity through an exciting one-day programming competition. Cybersecurity experience is not required!

WHEN:

  • Friday, November 30, 10 AM - 4 PM

WHERE:

  • Long Island Campus: Harry Schure Hall ETIC Room 107
  • New York City Campus: Via Zoom (contestants to be emailed link 1 hour prior to event)

DETAILS:

  • Team size may be individual or in groups with three students max.
  • Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning teams.
  • Programming Languages Allowed: C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python
  • Only current NYIT students may participate. In order to be accounted for as a contestant, please sign up for the EventBrite with your NYIT email.
    Current NYIT Students is considered: All College of Engineering and Computing Sciences (CoECS) majors; Graduate & Undergraduate Students (LI and NYC campuses only)
  • Certificates will be given to all particpants.
  • Registration Deadline: Wednesday, November 28th, by 4 PM
