Would you like to learn how to take technology projects from design brief to prototype to help disaster victims? Join this workshop to earn valuable references and resume experience, get a badge in Creative Tech from NYIT, and have the chance to network with others in your field.

This workshop is open to all majors, whether you have a background in design or medicine. We are looking for creative minds from all disciplines.

The workshop will focus on using electronics and software to build solutions to help with disaster recovery efforts. The project will include aspects of industrial design, technical writing, coding, user experience testing, social media marketing, video documentation, and more. All we ask is that you have some kind of skill of any level and the willingness to commit time to the project. The finished prototype will be presented to industry professionals from top corporations for review.

This workshop will be held once a week at both New York campuses. This is the fourth session of the six-week program. You can work remotely on the project as well. Please be prepared to commit a minimum of 4 hours per week until the end of the semester.
