According to the world’s leading climate scientists, we have only twelve years left to keep global warming at or below 1.5C (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) and thus decrease the risks of extreme heat, floods, and droughts worldwide. Join International and Experiential Education (IEE) to find out what you can do to reduce your own carbon footprint.

About IEE Civic Thursdays: Critical thought and civic participation are essential to becoming an educated person in the 21st century. In this event series, we invite you to raise your awareness about issues of importance, one Thursday at a time.

About International and Experiential Education: Our mission is to nurture your personal, academic, and professional growth within NYIT’s strong multicultural community. Participate in our social and cultural events throughout the semester to learn from each other, have fun, and develop friendships that last a lifetime!
