Civic Thursday: Accessibility & Activism

Sick and disabled folks want to participate in activism, but what happens when activist activities aren't accessible for them? Together, we’ll watch “Activism Is Not Accessible: How to Include Disabled and Chronically Ill Folks in Your Movement,” a talk by Diane Murray that explores various ways these community members are cut off from activism and how movements and individuals can make their activities more inclusive. The viewing will be followed by a group discussion.
