Accessible Data Challenge

The International Association of Transportation Regulators (IATR), along with its university partners, government regulator member agencies, and affiliated organizations, is holding a competition analyzing data over a period of time to help develop and present solutions that are technology-based initiatives, government policy recommendations, and/or service delivery improvements that can be implemented in the private and/or public sector or through public/private partnerships. Taking place over a few weeks, this data challenge is like an extended hackathon.
Data access will be given remotely to participating students/teams, and participants will have until June 24 to work on solutions based on parameters and a questionnaire given to them at the beginning of the challenge. Finalists will be selected by a panel of IATR judges and will be invited to travel to the 31st Annual Conference Conference in Philadelphia in September.
