Today's software developers work with IDE's (Integrated Development Environments) and the most popular and most powerful IDE on the market today is Microsoft's Visual Studio. Participants will receive an introduction to Visual Studio and learn the basics of creating web applications, desktop applications, phone apps, and console apps all from the same application.


New York Tech's ETIC Remote Engagement Sessions in Technology (iNTEREST) is an online lecture series designed to introduce students to proprietary technologies in use in industry today and expose them to related career opportunities and pathways. Students are provided with a background summary, a demonstration of the technology, instruction on how it can be acquired, and tips on how to quickly gain hands-on experience.
