Architectural Technology, A.A.S.

Turning an architect’s vision into reality requires technical and managerial expertise—from knowing how to prepare accurate designs to overseeing the construction process. Our program will prepare you to become a highly skilled specialist with a keen understanding of both function and design, ready to excel in architecture, construction, engineering, and related fields. Our graduates have found a wealth of focused, solid career options that did not require the time or expense of pursuing a professional degree in architecture.

The curriculum includes courses in architectural drawing and computer aided design (CAD), principles of architectural design and visualization, materials and building construction, as well as a complementary core curriculum in writing and verbal communication, critical thinking, pre-calculus, and physics for architects.
