Our media relations team helps to share university news and raise awareness for the expertise and accomplishments of our faculty and staff, as well as student achievements.
Promoting Your Accomplishments
We encourage members of the New York Tech community to promote research, new initiatives, events, and other news. If you have a story or topic related to the university that you would like to publicize, please contact us so that we can work together to strategize a potential media relations approach. Please do not contact the media directly; we will do so on your behalf as appropriate. We’ll help focus your message and prepare you to deliver it effectively.
Promoting Your Expertise
We encourage faculty and staff to be trusted sources of information for the media. To be added to our list of experts available to the media, email your contact information, area of expertise, and link to your New York Tech bio to mediarelations@nyit.edu.
Working with the Media
We ask that you please contact us if you are approached by a member of the media. We’ll provide you with facts you can give to media sources, as well as help hone your message, whether through online, print, or broadcast media outlets.
