Spotlight on Faculty Tenures and Promotions

As New York Tech prepares for the 2021-2022 academic year, several faculty members were recognized for their outstanding teaching, scholarship, service, and commitment to the university through tenure and promotions, which were approved by the Board of Trustees at its May meeting. The following tenures and/or promotions will take effect on September 1, 2021:

College of Arts and Sciences

College of Engineering and Computing Sciences

College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM)


These NYITCOM faculty were promoted to associate professor:

Charles Pavia, Ph.D., NYITCOM-Long Island, was promoted to professor.

School of Architecture and Design

School of Health Professions

School of Management

Library

Long Island and New York City faculty tenures and promotions will be highlighted in sponsored content announcements in Crain’s New York Business throughout the summer. Promotions for faculty teaching at the NYITCOM campus in Jonesboro will be announced in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
