New “Conversations in Urban Design” Series Taps Top Talent

Students and faculty in the M.S. in Architecture, Urban and Regional Design (M.S.AURD) program produced a new series of videos during the spring 2021 semester. Conversations in Urban Design featured distinguished practitioners and researchers in academia who contribute to the fields of urban design, sustainable development, and landscape urbanism. Created by Beyhan Karahan, M.A., professor of architecture, the video discussions were led by students in the M.S.AURD program’s Theories of Urbanism and Sub-urbanism course with introductions by Karahan and program director Marcella del Signore, M.Arch.
The new Conversations in Urban Design series includes:
- Guest Speakers: Amale Andraos, dean of Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, and Dan Wood,co-founder of New York City architecture firm WORKac
