Meryle Kohn, Ph.D., specializes in mathematical analysis and approximation theory, as well as applications of technology to mathematics education. In addition to her service as chair of the math and physics departments at NYIT-New York City, she served as coordinator of the Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences from 1991-2012.

Grant activity includes U.S. Department of Education Title III projects for computer-assisted instruction and software development for NASA Early Start Projects at New York Tech and Stevens Institute of Technology.

Kohn received her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in mathematics from Yeshiva University.
