For 32 years, Marie Bathard has worked with the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene of the City of New York as an RN, Supervising Public Health Nurse, and as a Nurse Manager in Ambulatory Care Clinic at Health and Hospitals Corporation + Queens Hospital Center.
She earned a B.A. with Honors in Modern Languages at Columbia University, a B.S.N. at Long Island University, an M.A. in Urban Studies at the Murphy Institute at Queens College, and in 2015, received postgraduate certificate in Adult Learning and Development at CUNY-SPS.
Bathard is fluent in Creole and French. I love the challenge of teaching new generations of nurses. I feel a duty to impart to them a love of the profession and all the expertise I have acquired over my years of nursing practice.
