Suzy Diggle-Fox teaches all three levels of nursing students—sophomores, juniors, and seniors— in a variety of different classes, both didactic and clinical, and laboratory classes. She is very involved with all the nursing students as their student nurse advisor. In this role, she attends many events with the students, such as: bake sales, food drives, the breast cancer walk-a-thons, the “Out of the Darkness” walk-a-thon, Relay for Life events, Toys for Tots collections, state and national student nurse conferences, and more. She is both a Geriatric NP and a Adult NP, and works per-diem as a volunteer and consultant within these roles. Diggle-Fox has worked for nine years as an NP at the Veterans Administration, as a dialysis patient compliance consultant, and as a HIV scholar. She is the chair for the Health Professions Week Fair, and serves on the Policy and Procedure committee, on New York Tech’s Communication Committee, in many Department of Nursing committees, as well as being involved in the local community. In addition, she is a Department of Health Medical Reserve Core Nurse Practitioner.
