He is also Exhibits, Advertising and Sponsorships Manager for the Society for Disaster Medicine and Public Health in Rockville, Maryland. While at New York Tech, Ryan had a New York State Senate Externship for the Subcommittee for Small Business Concerns and was later the New York Tech New England Chapter president in the 1990s.

Carol Silva is a Long Island broadcasting legend who began her career on WBAB Radio as a part time reporter, joined News 12 Long Island within months of its starting, began anchoring six days later, and has remained in the anchor seat of News 12’s No. 1 rated show ever since. Her interest in New York Tech is a family affair; her brother Kevin is Chair of the New York Institute of Technology Board of Trustees.
