Username & Password

Once registered, create your New York Tech Username and Password

• Step 1: Use the following link to create your account password: NYIT Password Management.
• Step 2: Set up OKTA SSO (Single Sign-On) to access the my.NYIT portal. Visit nyit.okta.com to set up your security questions and picture.
• Step 3: Access my.NYIT portal to review your grades, order your transcript and access some of the resources below!

Select the “Registered Student” Sign-In option.

Resources & Benefits

As a student in the New York Tech Advance program, you have access to many resources available to all New York Tech students. We encourage you to take advantage of these resources as they can help you prepare for college, learn new skills and familiarize yourself with New York Tech.

You will need your New York Tech login credentials to access some of the following resources.

• Software Downloads: You have access to download different software with your New York Tech credentials. Most products are available for free.
• Financial Success & Wellness: As a high school student, you may have questions about paying for college, the different types of loans and aid, and the impact and importance of a college education. We encourage you to create an account and explore the different courses, tools and information available to you via our Financial Success & Wellness platform. Access the platform via your my.NYIT portal and look for “Financial Success & Wellness” in the Finance tile. If you have any questions, contact financialsuccess@nyit.edu.
• Freebies and discounts: With a New York Tech email address, you have access to hundreds of discounts and freebies! Most major retailers will offer a discount with a college email address. You can also receive discounts at museums, digital subscriptions (think Apple Music and Hulu), and service discounts (such as cell phone services and travel sites).
• LinkedIn Learning: LinkedIn Learning offers students access to over 17,000 on-demand, online courses on a variety of topics. Earn badges and certifications that you can use in your resume and LinkedIn profile.
• Library Resources: Our library offers resources such as access to our databases, books and journals.
• Pre-College Programs: If you are interested in getting involved and advancing your career early on, explore our pre-college programs. New York Tech Advance is one of them! Learn more about our Business Bootcamps.

Did you know that we have two campuses in New York? Our Long Island campus is located in Old Westbury and offers a tranquil environment, tree-lined roads and a suburban campus life. Our New York City campus is located at the heart of Columbus Circle, offering a true New York City experience with a fast-paced, urban atmosphere. Most programs are offered at both locations, with a few exceptions. Speak with an Admissions Counselor to learn more.
