What’s your favorite thing about NYIT?

NYIT offers a great breadth of academic programs designed to help you kickstart the career of your dreams, in fields where highly trained professionals are in demand. With small class sizes, multiple campuses, and faculty and staff that are dedicated to student success, NYIT is a great choice for a quality education.

Our Long Island campus is beautiful, with a ton of character. Students and faculty/staff are very engaging, and the academic buildings and campus resources are all within a short walk.

I love that we have a campus option for students who are looking for a more fast-paced, urban environment. Our NYIT-New York Ciy campus certainly satisfies that, while providing our students with the resources they need to be successful in their studies, and remaining connected and engaged with the NYIT community as a whole.

What advice do you want to give students who are considering NYIT?

Don't be afraid to ask questions! Applying to college, whether as a first-year or transfer student, can be overwhelming. That's why we're here to help.

Also, try your best to avoid tunnel vision on a particular major - you might be overlooking other majors that you didn't know might be more inline with your goals. For example, you may have your mind set on a computer science program, and not realize that a program in information technology or electrical and computer engineering are more suited to your career path.

What are you doing when you’re not at work?

Listening to and creating music, reading, boating, and spending as much time as possible with my family.
