The new Serota Plaza will include updates to the existing student-founded Healing Path and a new Healing Pond, featuring plantings that encourage natural drainage and enhance campus resiliency. An amphitheater-style seating area will allow for gatherings and peaceful contemplation adjacent to the pond.

In addition, the building's façade has been refinished.

Sustainable choices for the building update included the use of natural stone and stormwater management using the building area's natural ecology and a manmade pond.
