Isaac Southard

Isaac Southard is a designer in New York City and a practicing architect with the firm Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYIT School of Architecture and Design where he co-teaches the first-year Design Fundamentals studios. He has also been a teaching fellow at Yale University and an adjunct instructor at Drexel University.
Isaac previously worked for DIGSAU Architects and MGA Partners Architects in Philadelphia, PA. He received his Master of Architecture from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University, where he was awarded the Pearson Prize Gold Medal Award for his thesis project.
Isaac’s work has been featured in Metropolis magazine, Context: The Journal of the Philadelphia, Surface Magazine, and Curbed. The chair he designed, 19 Lines, was featured in the 2016 International Contemporary Furniture Fair Studio show.
