New York Institute of Technology is committed to respecting your privacy.
You can visit the official NYIT Web site (http://www.nyit.edu) without revealing any personal information. Use of Information:

The NYIT Web site staff uses the information gathered from its visitors to tailor site content to visitor needs and to generate aggregate statistical reports

IP Address:
The NYIT Web site collects and records its visitors' IP address (the unique identifier of a computer on the Internet) to help diagnose problems with NYIT's server and to administer NYIT's Web site by identifying which parts of the site are most heavily visited. NYIT does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that user sessions will be tracked, but visitors remain anonymous. At no time do we disclose site usage by individual IP addresses.
