Accreditation - NYIT in United Arab Emirates
In 2007, NYIT became the first American university in Abu Dhabi licensed by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research (it had previously secured operating approval from the Abu Dhabi Education Council).
The programs in Interior Design (B.F.A.), Computer Science (B.S.), Business Administration (B.S.B.A.), and Computer Graphics (B.F.A.) have received initial accreditation by the Commission for Academics Accreditation, United Arab Emirates Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
In the U.S., NYIT is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
