The U.A.E. Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s accrediting body, the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), has extended initial accreditation to the NYIT master’s of science in Information, Network, and Computer Security (M.S.-INCS). On the occasion of the U.A.E.’s 43rd National Day, Mr. Peter Kinney III, Chief of Staff in the NYIT President’s Office, attended a celebration at the U.A.E. Embassy in Washington, D.C. The event was hosted by His Excellency Mr. Yousef Al Otaiba, U.A.E. Ambassador to the U.S. (above, addressing his guests).
“I was fortunate to be invited to the U.A.E. Embassy,” said Kinney. Part of a large party of guests, Kinney was able to speak briefly with His Excellency Mr. Al Otaiba. “I conveyed President Guiliano’s good wishes and invited the ambassador to visit NYIT the next time he is in New York.”
